SimWell helps supply chain teams build, validate, and scale AnyLogistix models that support network design, scenario planning, and ongoing strategy decisions.

01 / The Partner

Why SimWell for AnyLogistix

AnyLogistix gives teams a powerful platform for supply chain optimization and simulation. Many teams understand the potential. Fewer know how to turn that potential into repeatable decision support.

Where SimWell goes beyond a working network model

  • Network designs validated against real shipment volumes, lead times, and service constraints
  • Scenario libraries that let planners test sourcing shifts, facility changes, and demand swings without outside help
  • Integration patterns that connect anyLogistix to your existing ERP data and planning workflows
  • Risk and disruption scenarios calibrated to your actual supplier base and logistics network
  • Training and coaching that reduce long-term dependency on outside expertise

AnyLogistix lets us model the full network: sourcing, production, warehousing, and transportation as one connected system. SimWell uses that structure to test decisions across cost, service, and risk before anything moves.

02 / The Platform

Why AnyLogistix

Most supply chain tools force a choice: optimize the network on paper, or simulate how it actually performs. AnyLogistix runs both in one environment. You build one model, generate an optimal plan, and stress-test that plan under real-world variability without rebuilding anything.

METHOD

Network Optimization

CPLEX-powered optimization for sourcing, production, transportation, and inventory strategy. Finds the financially sound network structure before you commit capital or renegotiate contracts.

METHOD

Dynamic Simulation

Reflects lead-time variability, demand swings, congestion, service risk, and disruption patterns. Reveals how an optimized plan actually behaves when reality introduces noise.

METHOD

Digital Twin

Connects your model to refreshed or streaming data so the network representation stays current. Supports ongoing planning cycles rather than one-time analysis.

METHOD

Unified Workflow

Optimization and simulation share one model structure. Design the network, validate it under uncertainty, and iterate without switching tools or recreating logic. Most supply chain decisions need both steps, and most platforms separate them.

GIS-Based Visualization

Browser-based scenario access for stakeholders without local installs.

Built-In Experiments

Layers logistics routes, site layouts, and geographic data into the model.

Flexible Deployment

Models hold up from concept prototypes to embedded planning tools.

03 / The Engagement

How we work together

Every SimWell engagement delivers something usable early and builds from there. Four entry points, depending on where your team is starting.

Use when

Your team wants to apply supply chain optimization or simulation but needs help identifying where to start and which problems to tackle first.

You walk away with a prioritized shortlist of modeling opportunities ranked by business impact, data and process readiness, and level of effort, plus a recommended starting point.
Training
$15,000
Use when

Your team has AnyLogistix licenses and wants to build internal capability with structured guidance from working modelers.

You walk away with a private workshop tailored to your team's supply chain context, decision environment, and skill baseline.
Training + Applied
$35,000
Use when

You want to build internal capability and ship a working model on the same engagement.

You walk away with structured training plus a co-built prototype model scoped to one supply chain decision area.

05 / For Technical Teams

Technical depth

Integration patterns, modeling detail, and deployment considerations for supply chain analysts, internal modelers, and IT stakeholders.

Data Integration and Automation

SimWell configures secure, automated pipelines between your source systems and AnyLogistix. Connectors cover SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, demand planning and forecasting platforms, TMS, and WMS. Cloud data layers include Snowflake, Azure, and AWS. The result is a model that stays ready to run, fed by your organization's production data rather than manual exports.

Optimization Engine

AnyLogistix uses IBM CPLEX for network optimization. SimWell configures the optimization layer to reflect your sourcing logic, production constraints, transportation costs, and inventory policies. The optimizer finds the best-performing network structure; simulation then validates whether that structure holds under operational conditions.

Operationalization and Planning Cadence

SimWell aligns ALX models with your weekly or monthly planning cycle. Automated data refresh keeps the model current. Scenario templates and defined metrics ensure analysis stays consistent across runs. Clear dashboards and reports allow planners to run scenarios without deep ALX expertise. The model becomes planning infrastructure, not a one-time study.

Validation and Calibration

SimWell uses operational data your team already trusts as the calibration baseline. Validation surfaces include cost accuracy, service levels, lead times, and inventory positions against historical performance. Edge cases get explicit treatment rather than smoothed assumptions. Model behavior gets traced to the underlying logic when stakeholders question results.

06 / Common Questions

Questions buyers ask before they engage

What is the difference between Network Optimization and Simulation experiments in AnyLogistix?

Network Optimization uses CPLEX to find the best-performing network structure under defined constraints: facility locations, lane assignments, sourcing rules, inventory positions. Simulation experiments take that same network and run it forward through time with variability, disruptions, and demand patterns applied. Optimization tells you what the network should look like. Simulation tells you how it will behave. AnyLogistix runs both experiment types against the same model, so you do not rebuild anything between steps.

Can our planners run scenarios in AnyLogistix without deep technical training?

AnyLogistix separates model building from model use. Once SimWell configures the model, scenario templates, and output dashboards, planners can adjust inputs, run experiments, and compare results without touching the underlying logic. The platform's interface is designed for supply chain analysts, not developers. Teams that want to go deeper and build or modify models internally can do that through SimWell's training programs, but day-to-day scenario analysis does not require it.

Which AnyLogistix edition do we need?

AnyLogistix ships in multiple editions with different experiment capabilities, solver access, and deployment options. The right edition depends on whether you need optimization only, simulation only, or both, and whether the model will run on a single desktop or across a team with server-based access. SimWell evaluates your decision environment, team size, and deployment needs and recommends the edition and seat count before you purchase. If you already hold licenses, SimWell can assess whether your current edition covers the work you need.

Does AnyLogistix require a local installation?

AnyLogistix supports desktop installation, server deployment, and private-cloud infrastructure. Desktop works for individual analysts and early-stage model development. Server and cloud deployments support multi-user access, automated data refresh, and integration with enterprise systems. SimWell helps determine the right deployment architecture based on how many people need access, how often the model runs, and how it connects to your data environment.

Can AnyLogistix connect to live data, or does it only run on static exports?

Both. AnyLogistix supports direct connections to relational databases, REST APIs, and file-based imports. For teams running recurring planning cycles, SimWell configures automated pipelines from SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, TMS, WMS, and cloud data layers like Snowflake and AWS so the model pulls current data without manual file prep. For early-stage work or proof-of-concept builds, Excel and CSV imports keep things moving until the full integration is in place.
