Swiss simulation firm deepens SimWell's expertise and puts senior modeling teams on the ground in Europe
MONTREAL and LAUSANNE, Switzerland, September 9th, 2026 — SimWell, the simulation, optimization, and AI firm behind decision systems for complex operations, has acquired ProcSim, a Lausanne-based simulation consultancy serving healthcare and manufacturing clients across Switzerland and Europe. The ProcSim team joins SimWell, and founder Antoine Hayek becomes a SimWell Partner leading European growth from Lausanne.
Antoine Hayek co-founded ProcSim in 2007 and spent nineteen years modeling operations where the cost of a wrong call runs high: hospital logistics and patient flow, biotech and pharma production, MedTech, watches and luxury goods, and fragrance and flavor manufacturing.
The deal also considerably deepens SimWell's FlexSim bench, alongside its established practice in AnyLogic, AnyLogistix, Simio and similar platforms. Consistent with SimWell's approach, the tool follows the decision: clients with existing FlexSim models now have a senior team behind them on both continents.
SimWell opened its European practice a year ago with a Netherlands office led by Managing Director Joost Smits. The Lausanne team accelerates that push, putting senior modelers inside Europe so delivery happens in clients' own time zones and languages. With teams on the ground in Canada, the United States, Mexico, the EU, Switzerland, Australia, and India, SimWell works in every time zone and in a dozen languages.
"SimWell is local, globally," said Alexandre Ouellet, CEO and founder of SimWell. "We're local so we understand the businesses we serve, with people who know their markets, their culture, and their realities. And we're global, so multinational clients get one partner across every operation they run. Antoine and his team make us more of both."
"Our international clients kept asking how a team of ten could cover them across factories, time zones, and continents," said Hayek. "SimWell answers that question. They bring scale, reach across industries we don't serve, and depth in AI and tools we don't use. We bring healthcare, our manufacturing work, and FlexSim."
The two teams are currently being integrated across multiple client engagements. For clients on either side, nothing changes hands and nothing gets handed off: the same people, backed by a deeper bench.
